Thanks to Ms Tari Parish for this Special win at the Arizona Rhodesian Club’s Regional Specialty – Best Puppy in Sweeps and following Sweeps Annie went on to win Overall Best Bred By and her name will be on their Arizona Rhodesian Ridgeback Challenge Cup and a Reserve to a major. I am sorry to say I didn’t realize there was a Challenge Cup so we didn’t get a picture. Another nice win for us was the Generation Class, where I had Grandpa Jack, Mother Pepper and Annie in the ring with help from neighboring crate RR owners and we won that class. Jack raced around the ring like his mom before him. He loved it at 10.5 years old.
We skipped the Friday dog show for a day of rest and went into Saturday where once again Annie took Overall Best Bred By and BOW for a 3 point major under judge Mrs. Debbie Petersen at the Arizona Rhodesian Ridgeback Regional Specialty show
Another Best Bred By and a Reserve under judge Loraine Boutwell. Annie and I were not able to compete in the All Breed Best Bred By Group competition because we were in the Breed ring where Annie took BOW for a 3 point major. Annie now has 3 majors and just needs two single points for her AKC Championship.
On Friday, January 10, 2014, on frozen grass Annie took another BOW and BOS over bitch specials for 2 points under Mrs. Sharon Bartosh Kinney, this Annie’s first show in AZ but the timing for a picture was not to be that day.
Annie takes BOB for a 5 point major! Annie in blue and Pepper (1st place in Specials) is in yellow. Annie and an Ibizan Hound tied for BIF and Annie lost in the runoff but she had a great day. This was a February 2014 trial.
